We are delighted to announce that The Great Vintage Flying Weekend (G-VFWE) will be held on the 30th and 31st July 2011.

In 2009 the G-VFWE started the next chapter of its life at Cotswold Airport, Kemble. However, over the last few years, the weather has not been kind and the event has struggled to meet its financial targets. So for 2011 we are using a "back to the basics" approach that will see the event revert back to the days when it regularly used to attract over 250 visiting aircraft.

G-VFWE 2011 will be held as a pure fly-in for vintage aeroplanes and there will be no actual flying displays. The move to a July date will hopefully help increase the chances of the event benefiting from some better flying weather and greater aircraft attendance.
